Frequently asked questions
Does this include both the start and end date?
The total days figure is the number of days between the two dates — for example, January 1 to January 3 returns 2 days, matching how most contracts and deadlines are counted.
How are leap years handled?
Automatically. Because the calculation works from actual calendar dates rather than a fixed 365-day year, any February 29th between your two dates is correctly counted.
Can I use this to calculate someone's exact age?
Yes — enter their birth date as the start date and today's date (or any date) as the end date, and the "years / months / days" result gives their exact age as of that date.
